  I got put in the wrong class three years in a row for middle school. I did not have a great education. The majority of the teachers there did not go to college and have no write "teaching" the subject. I was physically harmed by a mother of a student, and yet she was not banned from the campus. (I actually got suspended for two days because of that) There were multiple fist fights in my eighth grade year, the most that happened was a one day suspension. The janitorial service there, is not a safe company. People have had stolen items from them in the past and the janitors are illegal. The way of the teachers teach is just copying down notes and studying from them. THIS SCHOOL HAS NO EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES! It is very important for your child to take part in after school activities for their own health. There are no sports teams, so your child has no way of staying fit with in the school. The lunch is a whole other topic. The lunch ladies are actually violating a health code rule where they must wear hairnets. The amount of oil put in to most of the food is ridiculous. I have eaten a single hot dog that would upset my stomach from all the oil put on. My friends once filed a complaint about the health and the health department said that there were many complaints about this school. Another big concern with health is that there is no middle/high school nurse. As far as I know, there is a nurse for the elementary but she leaves at 3:30 and 4th and 5th grade leave at 4:30. It is my belief that every school should have a student government. TA does not. It is important for teens to learn leadership skills when they are younger and use those skills when they are older. Community service hours should also be a part of this school.
  I really hope you make a good choice and don't send your child to this school. If you want your son to grow up as a successful man with a good education, please find a different school.
